EXPECTATIONS FROM UNION BUDGET 2015

Ever since BJP has been elected as the ruling party of India with mammoth support, banishing Congress totally it has been evident that they need to perform. A lot has been expected from BJP and dynamic Narendra Modi who has made a lot of promises to the people of this country.

Hence, the people of this country await the fulfillment of these promises as they become more and more impatient. In the upcoming budget which will be out in two days, it is expected that it will be a common man’s budget, fulfilling the needs of common man. Arun Jaitley the finance minister will be bringing the budget out.

•    Ever since BJP has been elected into power, the PM Narendra Modi has been emphasizing on the fact that business need to be promoted in India. Then took birth the concept of ‘Make in India’ which invited all big companies to come to India and manufacture here which will help a lot. It will help in promoting investments in India which is need of the hour, it will elevate employment to a great extent, all multinational companies will be encouraged to do business in India which will promote win all situation.

•    Buying a home in India has always been an uphill task for a middle class man and for a lower class man a thing of the dreams. Loan rates are so high that a person’s salary would go in paying off the EMI’s every month. This is a very disappointing fact since we work so hard and earn, and if we cannot manage to buy a home for ourselves then certainly India has not progressed over the years.

•    Gone are the days when people died of Tuberculosis. Medicine has progressed massively over the years and has saved millions of lives with the help of world class treatments in five star hotels. But the question which arises here is how much do these hospitals ask you to pay? Can every citizen of this country have access to the treatments they provide? The fact is clear that the government hospitals, the only resort for lower middle class are in awful condition with no amenities. The health services need to be improved and improved magically without any wastage of time.

•    Education has always been an obsolete term in India. With India’s population increasing day by day, the first question which arises in the parent’s minds when a child is born is how will we educate our child? The school which we dream to send our child in charged lacs of rupees as donation. This is what the middle class has to think. The lower middle class, even in the 21st century consider education as a privilege rather than a right! Again the government schools just do not cater to the needs of the students. It is needed to be elevated to a higher level with a lot of improvements. Education is an area which if focused on, with this kind of population; if every single person is educated then India would no doubt become the most powerful country in the world.

These are the basic things which need to be concentrated on by the ruling party BJP. The budget is an important test for the ruling party which if they pass then it puts a positive impact on the people. However if they fail in it then the consequences are not so overwhelming. We hope that the Budget 2015 caters to the majority of population of India, i.e. the middle class.
